Sergey Kuzmin vs. Amir Mansour Live stream. Sergey Kuzmin vs. Amir Mansour this Monday, Sergey Kuzmin vs. Amir Mansour – Full Card is Announced
After breakthrough years of 2014 and 2015, the World of Boxing, Russia’s top promotional outfit, limited its activities for a number of reasons, favouring quality over quantity and spreading out over the world’s largest country at the same time. By doing so, WoB made it harder for a casual Moscow fan to observe boxing as it has largely shifted to the regions. However, almost five months since its last big card in the Russian capital, WoB makes its return by staging Russia’s largest boxing show on November 27 at Luzhniki Sports Arena. The card will feature almost all of the talent that WoB has, culminating in two twelve-rounders supported by a deep list of eight ten-rounders.
By Sean Jones: This Monday night, Sergey Kuzmin (11-0, 8 KOs) and #13 WBO Amir Mansour (23-2-1, 16 KOs) will be fighting for the vacant WBC International heavyweight at the Luzhniki in Moscow, Russia. Despite the age difference between the two fighters, it should be a very competitive fight. Kuzmin, 30, is a big puncher from Russia with an excellent amateur background. Unfortunately for Kuzmin, he got off to a late start in his pro career at 27 due to the time that he spent fighting in Amateur boxing in Russia. Kuzmin is being fast tracked to the top due to his age. He can’t afford to be brought along slowly like most fighters.
Kuzmin hasn’t had a lot of time to prepare for the 45-year-old Amir Mansour, as he was originally supposed to be fighting Lucas Browne. He pulled out of the fight because he has a possible option of fighting for a world title against WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker if he fails to make a fight with IBFWBA champion Anthony Joshua. So, both Kuzmin and Mansour haven’t had much time to prepare for each other.
